Earlier this month, Matthew Schill, senior manager at Keno Kozie, attended ConnectLive 2018 – iManage’s Third Annual User Conference.

The event took place May 3-4 in Brooklyn, New York, and brought together iManage customers and partners including CIOs, IT professionals, technical architects, legal administrators and professional services firm executives. Attendees had an opportunity to learn and share ideas on how their firms can transform with cutting-edge technologies and new ways of working that serve client needs in innovative and cost-efficient ways.

We asked Matt what he thought of the conference and what he liked the best about it, and here is what he had to say:

“It was a great opportunity to meet in person with iManage management, sales, development and support personnel to gain insight into their direction and commitment to supporting their customer base and partners. It was a much better experience than the typical webinar. The keynote talks were very enlightening and the breakout sessions informative. It was obvious that they are listening to and addressing real-world changes and challenges happening to law firms and their clients today.

The conference did a great job of helping people network. At meals, receptions and in between sessions, I was able to meet people from all over the country – and even a few from Australia. It was great to hear their experiences and points of view on the iManage product line and the legal industry in general. It was also good to connect with many clients to discuss their needs and reconnect with a few people that had moved to new positions at other firms.

While I did not have a lot of opportunity to see Brooklyn, I was able to enjoy dinner with a client at an excellent Mexican restaurant nearby. Overall, the conference was great.”
